I have six years of Spanish tutoring experience, working with students ranging 10 years of age to 55. Most recently, I have been working with middle school and high school students. It is my goal to help them succeed by structuring my lessons in a way that matches their learning style. I have a patient manner and also reinforce study skills. Many students I have worked with just needed the material explained in words that they could understand and presented in a logical way that made sense to them. I spent time living in Costa Rica to conduct research on ecotourism and also completed a study abroad program in Mexico. I love to share my passion of the Spanish language with my students since being bilingual is very important in today’s job market. Also, I have taught ESL to adult language learners and created lesson plans for other tutors. In addition to Spanish, I also have experience in tutoring history and English. .
