Currently, I am pursuing my master of arts in education. Prior to graduate school, I worked as a teacher in China for English language learners. My teaching involved a fair amount of tutoring and I believe that it helped to teach me how to make sessions fun and engaging. I prefer to begin and end each tutoring session with a game because I think that learning should be fun. In addition to my travels in China, I have visited Egypt and Jordan. I have some basic language skills in Arabic, Chinese, and Spanish. I enjoy many hobbies in my free time. I also have many interests, including playing guitar, solving Rubik's cubes, reading, drawing, refinishing furniture, painting, and on occasion playing with Nerf guns. I also like Dungeons and Dragons.
