Experience
I currently hold a Work-Study job tutoring in the St. Paul Public Library Homework Centers. I work with students of all ages in all subjects. As part of this job I have taken training courses that have prepared me to help students acquire a second language, learn to read and comprehend, and learn mathematics. In High School I took nine AP classes and tests and passed all of them. I love my job at the library but since it is so busy sometimes it is not a great environment for learning. I hope that I can tutor in an environment more conducive to learning. I am majoring in French and International Economics but also have taken college courses in Biology, Chemistry, English, Philosophy, Christian Theology, Political Science and Psychology. During High School and in the summers I work in Youth Development for the YMCA- Twin Cities Branch in Eagan, so I have a lot of experience working with kids and adolescents.
