Boston College - Bachelors, Political Science

Experience

I am a recent graduate from Boston College. I chose to become a tutor because I am driven to help make academic life easier for a number of learners who struggle with standardized tests. As someone who faced challenges when taking the SAT and ACT, I know the feeling of anxiety and want to help others work through it.As I was a college student, I tutored a number of high school students in the Boston public school system. I am now located in Minneapolis, and look forward to helping students better their testing skills. I teach SAT math, verbal, and critical reading, in addition to ACT science, reading, English, and writing. I am also able to tutor students in a number of subjects, like government and politics, American and European history, world history, and social studies. My other interests include baking and music. I sing in a choir as well as play the sousaphone.
