Experience
I tutor algebra and pre-algebra to math students in the 6th and 8th grade. Interested in continuing my work in tutoring, I'm most interested in teaching math, Spanish, and ACT preparation. I started tutoring by working with students at Ramsey Middle School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is where I built much of my experience in helping students. My style is laid back yet I am extremely goal oriented during ever step of the tutoring process. Understanding and patient by nature, I am strongly driven by helping people accomplish their goals no matter how hard it is.Education has always been an important aspect of my life. I love sharing it and seeing the passion others have in a topic even if I'm not necessarily interested in it. Currently a sophomore and studying political science and Spanish at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, I attended St. Francis High School. After that I was enrolled in Anoka Ramsey Community College as a PSEO student. I travel, play and watch hockey, read, enjoy tennis and softball, fish, and knit. In addition, I also like to spend time with my family when I'm not in school, studying, or working hard as a dedicated tutor.
