I received my education from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. As a social studies teacher with 15 years of experience, I have designed and instructed courses on Greek and Roman civilization, history, and geography. I am very qualified to tutor a variety of coursework, such as American History, European History, World History, Human Geography, U.S. Government and Politics, Cultural Anthropology, World Religions, and Psychology. I have also tutored students in preparation for college entrance exams like the SAT, ACT, and the GMAT. In addition, I have experience in organization and study skills that will help students obtain focus. My philosophy on education revolves around the view that learning is a journey; I truly enjoy helping students experience success. When I am not teaching, I like to go on adventures, travel, dive, and spend time with my family and our golden retriever.
