I earned my bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. As a student, I was frequently required to deconstruct problems, identify key components, and then find the answer. I believe it was these experiences that allow me to be such a successful educator. It is this process of breaking down concepts into the basic components that are less intimidating and more accessible for students that makes such a difference in the learning process. I am able to take the subjects I am good with and bring my passion for teaching to help students achieve their academic goals. I teach a variety of math and science courses, including algebra 1 & 2, calculus 1-3, differential equations, geometry, elementary math, middle school math, statistics, trigonometry, chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, multivariable calculus, arithmetic, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, physical science, IB math and science courses, and honors chemistry. In addition to these courses, I am also available to help students prepare for standardized tests such as the ACT.
