Experience
I am an experienced classroom teacher, fluent in Spanish. Other areas include History English and Arts. Previous experiences include teaching at Magnason Academy, Language Sprout, and SteppingStone Theatre. Seasonally I also work as a soccer coach and downhill ski instructor, giving me experience of working with students of all ages. In high school I went through the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, and received my IB diploma. I got 6s/7s on the Higher Level English, History, and Spanish tests. I enjoy tutoring because I like getting to work one-on-one with a particular student, helping them develop confidence in the material and themselves. I describe myself as coach: half cheerleader, and the other half that's ready to push you as needed.
