I began tutoring professionally with Viking Tutors in 2012, focusing on math and science. I taught students from middle school to the collegiate level and feel very comfortable with the various subcategories within both mathematics and science. My test scores are as follows: GRE (2010): 800 Quant (94th percentile), 650 Verbal (93rd percentile), 4.5 Writing SAT (2006): 790 Math, 780 Verbal, 670 Writing ACT (2006): 33 (99th percentile) I help students understand the core concepts behind the hundreds of theories and formulas. Instead of rote memorization, I focus on explaining methods and ideas so that my customers can grasp the larger picture and therefore eventually more fully contemplate the various problems and questions they will encounter.
