With nearly 15 years of experience as a high school social studies teacher, I have created and taught courses on Greek and Roman civilization, Pre-modern and Modern World History, Human Geography, and other social studies topics, in addition to tutoring students to prepare for both the SAT and GRE exams. I view learning as more of a journey than a destination and love working with young people to cultivate a similar perspective. I also have a passion for the material culture of the past, having participated in archaeological fieldwork, both under water and on land, in Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, and the United Sates.
