Experience
I have been a tutor since the 2004. I tutored middle school students in Biology throughout high school and transitioned to tutoring high schoolers and my peers while in college. At St. Olaf I tutored students in statistics, basic calculus, genetics, and basic biology. I have loved tutoring since I started. I enjoy working with students, especially high schoolers, and watching their journey to success. The "lightbulb" moments, when material clicks and I see each student overcome an obstacle they have struggled with makes every minute worth it. I learn something new from each one of my students and I have a great sense of pride when they accomplish their goals. As a physician I continue to work with medical students at the University of Minnesota in both clinical capacities and in small group curriculum. AP Calculus AB: 5/5 AP Calculus BC: 4/5 AP Ceramics: 5/5 ACT Cumulative: 33 Courses taken: High school mathematics through 2 years of college level calculus.
