Experience
Hello, ever since I can remember I have wanted to teach and grow students’ enthusiasm for learning. I went to college at the University of Iowa and recently graduated with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering. During my tenure at Iowa, I took advantage of every opportunity to improve my teaching skills and further develop myself as a future professor. I started tutoring when I was in high school and continued to teach a beginning robotics class at the University of Iowa when I was a freshman. I have guest lectured for many professors at Iowa and participated in tutoring opportunities on campus to tutor at local elementary schools. During my graduate career I taught bio-instrumentation at Iowa and was also a TA. I have taken and taught a wide variety of classes including basic and advanced mathematics, basic engineering courses (statics, def bodes, etc), and many instrumentation and ergonomics courses. I look forward to this tutoring opportunity and being able to have a positive influence on you or child's learning.

Hobbies
I have many hobbies including sports (I love basketball and swimming) and video games. I enjoy many different genres of books and music. One of my favorite books is "The Reason I Jump". which is written by a young man with autism. It is very insightful and full of life lessons about looking past your own boundaries to see other points of view. This is very important in both teaching and life. To understand and acknowledge our differences, yet work together to make a better world.
