I would like to help out students with math because I know for many people it does not come easy. Without others helping me, I would not be where I am today. I would love the chance to give back! While in school I was a mentor for a Calculus Workshop class that met twice a week with 10-15 students. Currently I coach Lego League with the GISE/GEMS Engineering after school program with Minneapolis Public Schools. I have worked for the GISE/GEMS Engineering summer program for 5 years.
