I currently hold a Master of Education, and I have worked in a classroom setting for approximately seven years, where I have spent the majority of my time teaching students in grades K-6. I have taught in a number of states, including Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, and Minnesota. I am proud to say that I have successfully improved students' test scores and helped them exceed their MCA proficiency in the subjects of math and reading. I believe that in order for students to excel, they must have a passion for the subject they're learning. This is why I try to make my lessons fun and entertaining. I also make sure they are challenging for the student. Without a challenge, the learning process becomes boring, repetitive, and dull. I am definitely the tutor to go to if a student is struggling and needs a breakthrough. I am passionate and dedicated to helping my students excel and succeed in their troubling studies. When I am not busy teaching or tutoring, I can be found running or cooking up a great meal. I also love to spend quality time with my family, which consists of my son, my husband, and the family dog.
