Experience
I graduated from Lawrence University, where I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Gender Studies. I am now working on my master's in Counseling Psychology at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. My goal is to one day work as a high school and college counselor. I had the opportunity to study abroad in Amsterdam, and while I was there, I worked as an English tutor. As a college student, I was a French tutor. I am also really enjoying editing and revising the papers of my fellow college classmates. Psychology is my preferred subject to tutor, but I also tutor Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Literature, American History, French 1, 2, 3, and 4, Public Speaking, Social Sciences, and Social Studies. It is my belief that all students should have the same chance to learn, and it is my hope that they will be thrilled to do so. I am excited about encouraging and helping students along the learning process. I want to be a guide to students, while still allowing them the opportunity to arrive at the correct answers for themselves. In my free time, I enjoy reading, hanging out with friends, watching tv shows, and volunteering. As a Minneapolis resident, I also really enjoy attending hockey and football games.
