The students I tutor tend to show improvement quickly. That's because I know how to get them to work up to their potential. My students work hard, but we also manage to enjoy our efforts and have a few laughs as well. I set high standards for my students because I know that they will rise to achieve what is expected of them.If I push my students to achieve, it's because I know from personal experience that hard work yields results. I worked hard while studying for my bachelor's degree at the University of Minnesota, and I graduated with honors in 2008. This hard work also yielded three successful years after graduation as a columnist and teacher in Guatemala.My teaching experience includes courses in Literature, Spanish, Math, English, History, Essay Writing, and ACT test preparation. I am particularly proud of my self-designed study skills program which has been extremely effective for my students.During my off hours, I like to explore on my bike, get involved in sports, and try out new recipes in the kitchen.
