Experience

I have worked as both a middle and a high school teacher in a variety of settings, including: online high school, charter schools, large districts and smaller districts. In these roles it was my duty to create, prepare and implement curriculum for my students that would make them ready for the states standardized testing. As well as the benchmarks as laid out by the district. I want to be a tutor because I truly do miss working with kids. I know that when I was a teacher there would sometimes be 30 plus students in my classroom. I know that I did not provide every student and equal education. In tutoring you are not only able to work with a child or children up close, you also get to see if the new concept is understood. Then once it is understood it is much easier to help the student implement and integrate the new knowledge into what is already present.
