(http://www.crla.net/) Over 500 hours Math, English, and Social Science tutoring at Minneapolis Community and Technical College's (MCTC) Learning Center. Member, American Mathematical Society (AMS). Student Leadership Award, MCTC 2010. Having tutored for four semesters at MCTC, I found the specialized one-on-one sessions and focused small group sessions rewarding in being able to witness the positive academic results my fellow students experienced in these sessions. From this experience, my goal is to complete a BS in Applied Mathematics and pursue a tutoring career.
