(http://www.crla.net/) Over 500 hours Math, English, and Social Science tutoring at Minneapolis Community and Technical College's (MCTC) Learning Center. Member, American Mathematical Society (AMS). Student Leadership Award, MCTC 2010. Having tutored for four semesters at MCTC, I found the specialized one-on-one sessions and focused small group sessions rewarding in being able to witness the positive academic results my fellow students experienced in these sessions. From this experience, my goal is to complete a BS in Applied Mathematics and pursue a tutoring career. Some relevant math classes completed: Statistics, Developmental Algebra, College Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus I, Calculus II, Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra.

Aside for my interest in math and science, as well as the study of math and science history, I also enjoy baseball, hiking, reading, spending time with my amazing niece, and gardening. I have been happily married for 6 years to my friend and partner Heidi. I am a native of Chicago and spent some time in Phoenix, moving to Minneapolis, my wife's hometown, in 2008. We have a lovely home in Uptown near Lake Calhoun which we work on whenever we have time.
