I worked as a high school English, Reading, and Special Education teacher for the last two years in Hawaii as a Teach for America Corps Member. I tutored students after school in English, Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, and ACT Prep while I was there. On my own ACT, I achieved the following scores: Overall: 32 English: 34 Reading: 33 Math: 32 Science: 31 I want to be a tutor because I like to help students learn and find success in academic environments so that they are confident in their abilities. I enjoy working with students of all ages and like to challenge students when I work with them. Right now, I also work as an Employment Consultant and Post Secondary Navigation Consultant for Autism Works.
