I earned undergraduate degrees in history and economics from Simpson College, and I'm looking forward to pursuing a doctorate in Latin American history. As an undergraduate student, I tutored high school and college level students in accounting, math, and economics, and I also edited academic papers for them. I believe that every student is capable of success when they have the proper guidance, put in hard work, and set goals. I love explaining complex concepts to students in ways that they can understand. I developed this ability during eight years in debate teams throughout my undergraduate and high school careers. I also spent four years coaching debate, which also involved helping students research, master public speaking, and on their writing skills. I can tutor students in algebra, calculus, economics, macroeconomics, microeconomics, geography, statistics, pre-calculus, government and politics, history, psychology, social sciences, business, pre-algebra, public speaking, accounting, Spanish, grammar, writing, and essays. In my spare time, I like to play video games and board games, meet people, watch movies, read, and play with my cat.
