Experience
I'm a professor of anatomy and physiology for a Twin Cities community college. I went to the College of St. Benedict to earn my bachelor's degree in biology and music, and then I went on to Georgetown University to earn my masters degree in biophysics and physiology. I love anatomy and physiology, and I show my enthusiasm for the subject by having energetic and positive classes with fun and humor interjected. As a tutor, I understand that every student learns in their own way, so I focus on identifying the student's learning style and teaching to them using that method. I have a lot of techniques to help students understand anatomy and physiology, and I prioritize helping students learn in the most efficient and engaging way that I possibly can. I also want my students to develop independent learning skills so that they can become self-sufficient in future. In my free time, I enjoy singing, running, riding my bike, cooking, cross-country skiing, and doing yoga.
