I am a biomedical engineer, with a degree from Arizona State University. I love science and math and I also love sharing those subjects with others. I have experience helping people of all ages, from three-years to adults. I am also passionate about technology and I have skills and experience in helping people develop skills for the professional world. My tutoring style revolves around encouragement. I strongly believe that everyone can benefit from encouragement because so much of the time what stands in the way of learning is a child's confidence level. I have learned that students usually know more than they think they do and it brings me joy to help them discover their own natural talents. My teaching method includes asking questions and guiding my pupils to the answers with active problem solving from the beginning. I am a lifelong learner and I am always studying new ideas in medicine and science, anatomy is my main passion. When I am not teaching, you can find me doing yoga, hiking, and running. I am an avid outdoors lover, so you can find me doing just about anything that can be done outside.
