Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. Native Spanish speaker. I graduated as a Social Studies teacher, focused on History and Geography, in 1999. Since then I have worked in many levels of education: middle school, high school and college. I obtained my Master's degree in Communication, specializing in Social Development in 2008 (Both degrees at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, Caracas), which opened the door for me to work in news channels, publishing houses and companies. In 2015 I came to Minnesota to work as a middle school and high school teacher in the Social Studies in Immersion Spanish program. I have also taught Spanish in Community Ed for adults and private tutoring.

In Minnesota I have worked teaching Social Studies and Spanish in both middle school and high school. In addition, I have taught Spanish in Community Ed for adults and private tutoring.
