Experience
Parents and students, My name is David, and it will be my pleasure to work with you to upgrade your learning experience. I've been tutoring since 2010, and I've loved working with students one-on-one to find their strengths, shore up their weaknesses, and build long-term plans to help them reach their own goals. From elementary school students getting their first taste in tutoring to college students cramming to finish their assignment, I've worked with students from all backgrounds, helping them set themselves up for success since day one. By building trust and forming a positive relationship with my students, I've helped foster a curiosity for math in even the least confident students. Through forming a partnership with my students, I help them formulate a game plan: whether it's acing the next test, bumping up their grade for a course, or getting into a college of choice. During my time as a student, I aced my math classes and took part in math competitions as well. On the testing side, I earned a 5 in AP Calculus BC, an 800 on the math portion of the SAT, and an 800 on the SAT Math Subject Test. On the contest side, I've won multiple state and national competitions like the AMC 10 and the AMATYC. If you're curious, I'd love to share the world of competition math with you; I've found it more fulfilling than the math classes I've taken in school, to be honest. I look forward to working with you and sharing the creative, curious side of math that's lost so often in the classroom. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Hobbies
I've caught the swing dancing bug, and I've been traveling around the country for the last couple years to attend workshops and to meet fellow dancers from around the world. On the weekends I'm not dancing, you might see me dressed up at a winery or a ballroom as the DJ for a wedding; it's the perfect space for my love of the arts to come together with making sure my clients get the attention they need.
