I want to help my students by strengthening their basic knowledge in any subject that they might need help in and building on it from there. While making good use of our time, I plan on setting concrete goals so we can stay focused. Of course, I am alert to what my students may need, and I will work with them as necessary. I have a variety of different ways that I have worked with my students, and I am confident I can find a way that works for the student's individual needs.I have been a teacher in different settings, including working at a charter school that focused on science and math subjects. I have also worked extensively with ELL students.I am available to tutor in Elementary Math, Anatomy, Biology, ESL/ELL, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, American History, Earth Science, Environmental Science, Public Speaking, Life Sciences, Math, Science, English, Social Studies, Art, and test prep, including the SSAT. I also offer help for students who are gifted as well as special education students.I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Morris.In my free time, I love to travel, view art, go to movies, take long walks, and do yoga. I also love to read.
