Experience
I BELIEVE we all have different learning styles, and that it’s important for me as a tutor to “speak the language or learning style” of the student. I have experience with this and always find a way for the student to connect with the material. WHEN I WORK WITH A STUDENT, I put energy into nurturing their basic curiosity, and developing their ability to ask the right questions. I am enthusiastic about math and my students become enthusiastic too. I love to ask questions and my students become expert at asking questions too. I am goal oriented, and I help students reach their goals too. I BELIEVE THAT MATH IS IMPORTANT to all students no matter where they go and what they do in life. It’s basic for other learning. If provides a rigorous intellectual framework. Math isn’t invincible. Everyone can learn it and do well with it. All that’s required is hard work and effort. WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME? I love to teach, and I love math. So, I enjoy working with students and working with the math. More importantly, I enjoy watching the “light bulb” turn on when my students begin to understand. I receive personal satisfaction in watching students accomplish that was previously out of reach for them. Their victory becomes mine too. WHAT ABOUT THE MONEY AND FEES? I’ll give the first trial lesson – FREE OF CHARGE Single Lessons: - single hour of tutoring: 40 USD Packages: - 5 hours: 170 USD - 10 hours: 300 USD
